15300 white dial legibility

I am currently looking to add a 15300 to my collection. I really like the blue dial best, but it will be unlikely I find one. So now I am looking into the white dial, but a little concerned with the legibility. Any 15300 owners who can give some feedback would be greatly appreciated. I also consider the 15450, but the dial looks like this dial might be even more shimmery, so any feedback on that would also be helpful. Thank you very much. - chris

I cannot help with the legibility of the white dial (I have the black dial) but if your heart sings for the blue dial, don't settle. They can be found, although you will pay a premium for one. White dial is a great choice and if in a while you want the blue dial send it to AP and have them switch the dial. It's a dial swap and will cost you 2k +/-

I had a white dial 15300 for more than 2 years and never had a legibility issue during daytime. The lume is very weak so do not expect to light up a room with this one at night. It is one watch I should have never parted with.

This from above post:

"The lume is very weak so do not expect to light up a room with this one at night."

Other than that, legibility is great. Also see my earlier thread from this week - "Instead of lume..."

But don't compromise on dial color you really want.

I had a white ROC, no visibility issues.

I love the white dial on the 15300. Never had any legibility issues with it. Regret having sold it when I purchased my ss Openworked. Will look to re-acquire it in the near future because it's a handsome and superbly comfortable watch.

Thank you for the replies. Much appreciated. All 3 dial colors look great, not easy to choose between them.

I personally love my white dial and think it's the best color of the 3. I compared it over the weekend to the blue 15400 and much prefer the white. But they are all amazing. Never had any issues ready the time other than finding myself staring at the watch admiring it
