Incoming...AP Diver

Just purchased a brand new AP Diver, special thanks to Takuya for a smooth transaction and great customer service.

I started wearing it yesterday and I noticed its running about ~+12 seconds in 24 hours. Is that normal? Should I be concern or just monitor it for a few days before sending it to AP Clearwater for service? My 15400 is running much more accurate.

I hear you should let it run for a while and see if it breaks in and becomes more accurate?

Congrats!

The resting position at night (assuming you don't wear it to bed) can make a significant difference too. You can experiment with different positions and self-regulate it. If this doesn't work after a while, it can always be regulated by APSC. My Diver was running fast just like yours and when I sent it to Clearwater for a different reason, I asked them to regulate it. Since then, it runs within 1 sec per day.

Congrats, best dive watch IMO with the Blancpain FF, try fully winding it, no risk to break anything by over winding it

Per AP +12 and -8 per day is normal. That said if you have a watch winder set it and put it on there for 24 hours and test it. I'm anal about accuracy and rest it in different positions to see what the rate is. Mine ran 8 seconds fast when I got it and then I somehow magnetized it. A first for me, when it was sent to Clearwater someone on hear told me to ask for it to be regulated. I have Lindsay a +2 -1 window. It's been a steady +1 per day since I got it back with my 3rd year sticker mailed to me. So either way your in good hands. It looks great. Even though I have the same watch, I always get exciting for someone else to get one or any incoming for that matter. Congrats!

Thanks,
Everett

I am thinking about trading my bluesy on one myself. I might even start a thread asking about that decision. Meanwhile congrats! It looks great on you.
