Bronze or Not

With the new Black Bay Bronze on it's way soon, I would like to hear folks thoughts on bronze watches in general.

We tried it in Vegas (link on my signature), it feels great, lightweight and size wise it is pretty good!

I like the look but they are not so pretty IMO when they start to patina. They just look rusty to me.

Not a fan of the color or size, why do they continue to make watches larger (it's like cellphones)

At 43mm, I'm afraid it'll look funny on my wrist (6.25). Guess will have to try it out at an AD first.

I was in Vegas a few weeks ago, and I bought it from the AD you all saw the week before. Its paid for in full, now just waiting for it to arrive, maybe early July, not sure. Never had a bronze and am looking forward to it.

I thought it looked good and felt nice on the wrist (not too big or heavy). Hope they correct the double 9's on the final models
lol

I'm looking forward to seeing pics as they start rolling in...but my initial reaction is that neither the metal nor size are for me.

That double 9 has to be a mistake just on that one watch. I googled Tudor bronze, and looked at all the images, not one had the 6 upside down like in that pic. Very strange though.

Not. Looks just dirty. Some call it "patina".

Isn't it much different material than a "true bronze" watch like the PAM Bronzo? Not sure if this will patina at all. It's different and that's cool, but ultimately not for me...

Tudor stated that their bronze mix wouldn't patina like the PAM382. Less copper in their mix I imagine. It wouldn't patina more than the caseback.

Not a fan of bronze to begin with. That said, I find the size a little bit ridicule for a black Bay.. Numbers on the dial its symmetry too
