Is this 5513 case "too good to be true"?

Hi everyone,

I am looking around for a nice 5513 and came across this 5513. It is a Feet first 5513 from 1968.

The case is very, very sharp. I saw this picture of the serial:

The seller is a buddy of mine and an honest guy.
It looks good to me but I'd like the opinions of fellow members.

Love to help, but need more pics from different angles to evaluate.

You can't rely on papers as they are sold on the bay and at shows etc. Watches are re-engraved to match paperwork.

Is there a RSC where you can authenticate the watch near you?

The watch itself looks pretty good to me. Service insert but hands and dial match nicely

To the OP, if you have a mobile device where you can expand the pics to get a closeup view, you'll start to see the flaws that exist with this piece (of junk).

What is your buddy's story about the provenance of this watch?

Entirely fake or Franken, I say, judging from the pics.
