If you really want to do this locally, and the RSC isn't the way you want to go, visit Lewis Jewelers on Gulf Freeway -- incredible service shop, and good staff. I do all my services there. Never had a single screw up, unlike RSC.

They are great. Got my BLNR, Navi and Pelagos there.

if you don't want the Dallas RSC try Hal Martins in Houston.

They do a great job.

Donohos in the Woodlands can also do it but I would rather send it Dallas.

I think they mentioned once that they have a repair facility right there in The Galleria in one of the upper floors but you can't take it there directly. They will take your watch in the Boutique.

That is correct (right above the ice skating rink).

I used Hal Martins on Westheimer and was pleased with their service. Give them a call and they will give you the rates, timing, etc.

If I'm reading your profile correctly then your watch is a vintage '73 Submariner? If that's right, instead of the Dallas RSC you may want to search the forums here for a couple of the independent watchmakers that kind of specialize in servicing vintage models preserving as much originality as possible. There's a guy named Rik in Texas, ABC Watchwerks in LA, etc.

If it's a modern version or you don't care that much about preserving originality then an RSC is probably the way to go.

Correct especially if it's a 1973 Submariner. Just wanted to add Rik is in Florida and Vanessa is in Calif.

Frank, I've got my GMT there now. Just got a repair quote from them, and it was less than half of what Lewis wanted!

Holy Necro thread! Post #16 revived a two year old thread. Quite sure OP had their watch serviced years ago.

If not Dallas RSC I would suggest Joseph Nguyen at Swiss Chronometers on Richmond.

Either Deutsch & Deutsch locations I believe will handle sending it off to the Dallas RSC.

As others have said, I'd go RSC, but otherwise, Hal Martins is fantastic. I've never done Rolex work with them, but I have a good friend with a few vintage pieces who goes to Hal's and has had fantastic results.
