Black Bay 36 - UK Availability?

Any news on the availability of the BB 36 yet, ladies and gents? I'm in the UK but curious as to whether it has surfaced anywhere yet.

I'm also not entirely sure of the UK price. Can anyone confirm please?

Thanks

And from the lack of responses so far, it's not looking good

Expected delivery July 2016 and retail will be £1,940 on bracelet, £1,730 on leather both coming with the camouflage fabric strap.

Oh bravo, Mr Pirate! And welcome to TRF

Naturally, I'm curious as to how you know such things. Are you in the trade, might I ask?

So many watches to consider... BB36, Style 38 or 41mm, OP39 or 114270. What to do?

Many thanks from a long time lurker, first time poster!

As for your question, I can neither confirm, nor deny.....

Personally, the OP39 is the pick out of the bunch there although I've not been hands-on with the BB36 as yet (didn't manage to get to Basel this year) and that has had pretty rave reviews so far from the likes of Hodinkee but then again they rave over anything Tudor and/or sub 38mm it would seem.

Given the 'dink's dedicated Tudor section, I can only assume they receive funding... so it shouldn't be a surprise to find that Tudor products are routinely raved about. That said the BB36, as you say, has been more widely raved about.

I loved the OP39 at first sight, but I do wonder whether I might question the wisdom of buying a watch which has exactly the same case, same movement and same bracelet (but different clasp) as the Explorer. Or not...

If you're a good man to be speaking to, Crunchy, about sourcing watches... don't hesitate to drop me a PM
