Faulty dial, worth anything?

Hello,

A friend's sister bought this watch 3-4 years ago so this is out of warranty. Watch works fine and this is only on the dial. Any idea how much it would cost to replace the dial and should she or is this like the future equivalent of the "spider" dial?

Almost as if it sat in a jeweler's window, hacked, for many years?

That's odd.

Looks like it was stuck at 2:34 for a long time.

Even if this dial were the be valued in the future, this model is not a collectible. TT datejust with diamond indexes is not everybody piece of cake. IMHO, just a damaged dial that devalues your watch

Remove the dial and soak it in more purple dye, Try and pretend it was meant to be that way

Actually, it was a daily beater since it was bought. Love your article, almost want to quit and move to Rolex or BMW. :p

Was it bought brand new 3-4 years ago? Rolex might possibly change it if so, if it's a fault with the dial.

I wonder if this was caused by oil from the watch movement. If so, it might clean off.
