1600 Case With 1601 Caseback?
hi guys,
first time post. recent arrival from the omega forums. good to find everyone here. my question in brief: saw a nice datejust on ebay with a 1600 case reference and mov't s/n dating it to 1967, but the caseback is marked 1601 and I-69 (made in 1969, of course). is this discrepancy allowed in the rolex/vintage DJ world or is this a franken-rolex? thx in advance! :) |

What's the serial number?
Very common for 1601 back to be on a 1600. |
