26470ST to 26470OR

I bought a 26470ST last summer and really like it a lot. I switch between the ROO and my Gold Rolex GMT2 as my daily watches.

I just got the idea though to PX both the 26470ST and 116718 for a Gold 26470OR.

Has anyone else made this switch, from the steel model to the gold model? Anything I should be aware of - much heavier, easier to damage, etc? Also anyone put their 26470OR on a rubber strap as I really like the convenience of rubber straps - is it easy to do?

Haven't made this particular switch, but have tried on a gold ROO and was blown away by the heft. It was more watch than I needed. I generally like AP for the sleekness of the RO, so I have stayed away from the ROO line.

I would for the 44, not the 42, I'd save and keep the GMTc then.
