It seems that most folks here prefer the 2 liner, but I'm a rebel and prefer the 4-liner. Probably because that was my first Rolex.
You should buy what you like.

I use to favor the 2 liner....but after seeing it IRL.....it looks a little too clean for me.....like something's missing. So I vote 4 also.

Both are great, but I would take the 4-liner myself. Better balance with the top lettering (including crown).

I prefer the 4-liner with engraved rehaut and random alphanumeric identifier, and the Parachrom Bleu hairspring.

Hey, I just checked the card, mine's a G series also. I noticed that the model # on the card reads only 14060, no 'm' mentioned. Does that mean it is not a modified movement?

Hmmm, I don't know Jack, I'll go check mine. You mean on the warranty card? I can't believe that a late G serial isn't an M.

Mine doesn't show the M on the card either but it does show it as 14060M on the hang tag.

Oh, I don't have the tags. I remember seeing them, and the AD peeled off the stickers for me. Purchased new in October 2012. By then it would be considered NOS, no?

So, not only is there the group of Sub purists, there are the two liners, the 'm' crowd, and now the G serialists. Maybe my wife is right, it's only a freakin' watch.
What have I gotten myself in to ?
