replacement hands?
This may sound strange but here goes. I have a Datejust with a white porcelain face and large gold roman numerals. The hands are yellow gold with white down the middle (it's from '03 so I don't know if it's tritium or luminova). Here's my question: With the white down the middle of the hands and the shiny white dial, sometimes I have a bit of difficulty telling time. I'm gettin old, ok?
Can I have the hands swapped out for ones with no white down the middle? (I don't even know if hands like that exist.) Or can someone suggest a different dial color that would give more contrast if I keep the current hands? (At least I have seen replacement dials.) Where should I have the work done? I'm new (just logged on and first post here) so I don't know my way around finding a watch repair place that would do me right. |

There is a lot that you can do with a DJ and your AD will be more than happy to have it done..
An '03 would have Luminova in the hands, but there are dozens of different dials and combinations.. Have a look here for some dials, then get down and pick one from the catalog.. http://www.oysterworld.de/1/index.htm
