HELP! Which Rolex to add to collection?
Hi everyone.
I currently own a BLNR and a PP 5167a. I am now deciding among three options for my next piece, and I'd appreciate your thoughts. For context, I'm 32, and my dress is either business casual or jeans + polo shirts. What do you all think? Slightly concerned the all gold Rolex is a little too much, but also worried about the value proposition of the YM. Decisions, decisions. The options: (1) YM Everose 116655 (2) Everose Daytona, keep bracelet (3) Everose Daytona, add a RubberB/Everest blackstrap |

I like the everose. I think it would be a nice dress option to compliment your BLNR. All gold is very much back in style.

is choice 3, the RG daytona with ceramic bezel, then replace the leather strap w/ rubber?
I'd probably go this route. I'm not sure the necessity to replace the strap with rubber, considering you already have a 5167, but I think it's just a little dressier than the YM, and I think you have the sports model already covered with the BLNR and the rubber strap covered with the 5167. The ceramic bezel would lessen the visible amount of gold if you're worried about too much gold. Not taking what you already have into account, I think the RG YM is my favorite, but the RG Ceramic Daytona is very very close. |

Daytona or YM would be my choice. Just keep in mind that precious metal watches depreciate more than SS in general.

Out of those two Daytonas, it has to be the ceramic.

There is just something about the YM Everose. Stealthy yet blingy in an understated way. Nice undercover black, you're in NYC so you understand, it's a diver and super comfy. That's my vote, this watch truly needs to be encountered to be appreciated.

While there is no doubting the wonderful arm model of the last pic, as you have 2 SS I would go for a full RG now. If not, then the ceramic.

I think it would be great to see some wrist shots of your gorgeous Aquanaut and Batman.
Would really help to give advice on whether the gold would look good, skintone matching is a science, don't ya know! Gold rocks if you have a touch of the Bob Monkhouse (UK ref, pic attached). However no matter what he said, if you're as pale Gollum after a dip in Skegness, its not going to be looking PRECIOUS... Sent from my Wileyfox Swift |
