Jason,

Great pictures. It looks like you had a great day by the shore. The one of you pointing, I can just hear you saying, "Thar she blows"... P.S., those plaid shorts of yours are real GQ. Is that your yellow lab? She seems to have had common sense and go in the water to cool off.

Thanks Velitsko, it's nothing compared to the summer pics that I've seen of the Greek islands.

Thanks Brian, "GQ" ...

As for the lab, it's not ours, unfortunately, we can't have pets of the hairy kind at home anymore, because my daughter is allergic to them.

Jason....you live on Amity Island.

Better be careful of the old sharks...you might need a specialist.

" Y'all know me. Know how I earn a livin'.
I'll catch this bird for you, but it ain't gonna be easy.
Bad fish. Not like going down to the pond and chasing bluegills and tommycocks.
This shark, swallow you whole. No shakin', no tenderizin', down you go.
And we gotta do it quick, that'll bring back your tourists, put all your businesses on a payin' basis. But it's not gonna be pleasant. I value my neck a lot more than three thousand bucks, chief.
I'll find him for three, but I'll catch him, and kill him, for ten.
But you've gotta make up your minds. If you want to stay alive, then ante up.
If you want to play it cheap, be on welfare the whole winter.
I don't want no volunteers, I don't want no mates, there's too many captains on this island.
Ten thousand dollars for me by myself. For that you get the head, the tail, the whole damn thing."

J

PS great pics

Up in Northern Michigan in Harbor Springs we know when it is Summer Time.

THE CONE-SUCKERS COME OUT They spend a lot of their money at our little shops so I can't complain. We love it in the Fall when they have gone home and we get our cute little town back.

Betsy's store is only $2,434 down from last year at this time so we are pleased. We bought about $17,000 less in inventory this year as well in order to protect our bank balance due to the economy. We are quite pleased so far. Testerday was an awesome sales day.

This looks like it was a great time Jason. The pictures are fabulous and it's a pretty spot.

Sorry Jason. I never saw this post. Here's a picture of Betsy and I at the store.

She's tiny but packs a huge wallop.
