GMT had to go to spa

About one or two weeks ago I noticed a strange sound when moving my hand with my GMT on the wrist. Firstly I thought it came from the bracelet. Not at all, the sound came from the inside of the watch. My idea was that something wrong was with the winding rotor.
Today I have visited my Rolex dealer/watchmaker. The diagnosis is faulty rotor pin. I decided to let the watch totally serviced (the more expensive option of the service). Only I insisted on not polishing the watch and bracelet. Waiting time will be about six weeks. ....
I am not going to mention how many times I had a look at my sadly empty wrist on my way home. ... The watch - GMTc LN - was worn six and a quarter years everyday. Of course, I look forward to have my beloved watch back again.

Beautiful. How about some more close-up pics of the watch. It's wonderful to see a well worn, unpolished modern peice

Great watch, you have to own more than one so you never have an empty wrist!
