Next watch: Daytona Meteorite or FPJ CB

Trying to decide between two watches:

WG Daytona Meteorite dial with bracelet

FP Journe Chronometere Bleu

Ignoring any pricing discrepancies, what do you guys like better?

I've been going back and forth, with the legibility of the CB better than the Daytona, but the Daytona perhaps a more versatile watch. I plan on wearing the watch with dressy casual clothes.

I think the Meteorite Daytona is next on my list but I'm going to wait until they slap a ceramic bezel on it.

Completely different watches.

Sports vs dress.

FPJ CB wears small (but then again so does Daytona non-ceramic).

Anyone encounter any issues with legibility on the meteorite dial? I heard they can make it quite difficult to tell the time.

FPJ ALL DAY. Not a fan or the meteorite Daytona anyway, but to own a FPJ would be an incredible thing.

I find the Journe to be a far more interesting piece in a collection.

As stated above, different watches for different purposes. What's your need?

Have you seen the back of the FPJ? Lord have mercy.

Piece will be added to collection that includes PP 5167a and a BLNR. I do not "need" a dress watch, as I never get more formal than business casual and usually wear polo shirts and jeans.

My vote went for the FPJ! It's such a beautiful and versatile watch that can easily be worn with shirt and jeans (in my opinion). You already have 2 'sports' watches and adding the FPJ will give you a killer trio.
I don't really classify the FPJ as a dress watch, but then again what's a true dress watch? What's the definition of a dress watch (white dial, 2 hands only, black strap??)? I think a watch without a steel bracelet get's called a dress watch way too fast.

FPJ is beautiful. But I wouldn't invest so much in a watch that might be unserviceable in the future (Rolex or other major brands will always be there, FPJ is far from certain and their watches aren't easy to service).

Daytona, I find the FPJs a little underwhelming on my wrist.

Meteorite!

Call it blasphemy but I kinda like it more than the ceramic with black or white face.

FPJ CB 'cause you need to clear the field to let me get the 116509 Meteorite at a good price myself.

I don't have the meteorite, but I do have the old style ss white Daytona and the FPJ CB, as well as a number of other watches. Bottom line, the CB gets more wrist time than any other watch. That blue dial is mesmerizing!
