Datejust Advice Please
I am 46 yrs old and have finally decided to buy my "retirement watch". I have been looking at various configurations of the Datejust but don't know how to get a true value of the watch. I really like the look of one that is local which is a 1994 TT, white face with diamonds but the price is $6600 and they seem pretty firm. There are no service records and the crystal is aftermarket, otherwise it looks great.
A second one that I have found is online. It is a 1995 TT, has service records, ivory face, diamonds and $5100. I can't seem to find any information on what would make the white faced model that is older without service records worth $1500 more. I like the appearance of the white faced better but don't know if I like it enough to spend $1500 more for it. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. |
