AD Waiting Lists

I'm getting a little tired of the ADs in Australia pretending to put your name on a fictitious waiting list for Sub-C and BLNRs.

There is one large AD in Sydney (who shall remain anonymous), that practically ignores you when the security guard decides to let you in the door.

Half of them won't even take your name and the other half say that they will call you in 12-18 months time. I assume that as soon as a Sub-C or a BLNR comes in, they just offer it to one of their long-term valued customers.

I circumvented all of this game playing. My wife bought a Sub-C in Dubai and I picked up a BNIB BLNR from a grey market dealer in Tokyo. Unless you want to buy a TT DJ, why would anyone bother to go to an Australian AD?

I will give a full report on my fishing trip to Japan soon.
