Question about BLRO

Hi all,

I've seen the WG BLRO a few times at the AD. The colors seem darker which is what I prefer. Does the blue and red color of the bezel seem washed out or lighter in direct sunlight? I'm itching for a PM Rolex. Thanks and pics are appreciated.

I'd have to go with lighter in bright sun. Like this

Well those don't seem to far apart maybe I picked the wrong pic - bottom line, don't go expecting a ss Pepsi. Once you accept that, you'll love this watch. It grows on me overtime while normally they degrade over time with me.

Truth. I prefer the watch indoors as the colors (pinkish and purple) when outside aren't my favorite.

Direct light - meh

Indirect light - whoa!

It's a lighter shade and varies slightly between indoors and outdoors as far as I can tell.

Great comparing pics Mike

I have to say, it's quite striking under indoor lighting

To me it is purple, they should have used the same shade of blue as the GMTBLNR

I think overall the BLRO is more subdued than the Pepsi. Looks great indoors and out, IMO.

Here's a full sunshine pic.

Not possible. They can't (yet) combine two different colors. In all bicolor ceramic bezels, they have to darken the lighter color. In the BLNR's case, they simply darkened the blue color until it was near black. In the BLRO's case, the best they could do is darken the cranberry to a purplish shade. I almost wish they'd just gone with a WG Coke model as they've already perfected the red (Tudor bezels are evidence of this) and could have darkened that to near black.

While I may sound down on the BLRO, I'm in fact a big fan.

So a Coke bezel would be best of both worlds...

The softer colors on the blro really match the softness of the white gold i would not change it. Can be seen best in the pic with the vital sign monitor i think :). Hard to capture the glow of WG.

So BLRO indoors and YG Blue dial outdoors, perfect.
