WRUW Posters?
I'm curious how different members approach their WRUW posts; I know there is some diversity in how this is done.
Post quick shots from phone only Post shots from camera only Post phone shots and sometimes apply post processing Post Camera shots and sometimes apply post processing Post mixed camera and phone shots; never post process. Post mixed camera and phone shots; always post process. Post mixed camera and phone shots; sometimes post process. |

For me it's a quick phone shot of the one I have on at the moment. if it was one on my phone or computer already then I feel like it's not the one on my wrist at this moment!! That and quicker for me to snap a quick pic & post then to look up an older one.

just phone shots, always showing the correct date. Generally try to take the shots at ~ 1:50pm or 2:55pm, when the hand alignments look nice ;-)

Just iPhone shots. Since it's a WRUW thread I always try to take a photo with the correct date. Looking at past wrist shots on my iPhone, I've come to the conclusion I should upgrade my wardrobe, maybe

I use tapatalk, takes photo right in the moment. Doesn't save it to phone so no unnecessary storage of a billion watch pics... Here you go. 4:37pm

I cheat all the time. Most time I just pick one from my saved pics.

I used to have a photobucket account where I stored pics / macros etc... I also posted (still do on occasion) from my phone.
However, with location services getting switched on / off, EXIF data attached to images... I felt a bit creeped out that my watch pics could give too much info on my device and/or my actual location. So...I really try not to post any pics anymore, and I have not participated in a WRUW thread in a very long time. |

I always post a shot of what I am wearing at the moment and I usually show the date ,,,
If I have an extra couple of minutes I enhance the shot using snapseed app. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Same here because I have dozens of them and can't take any better looking ones. I do, however, make sure I'm posting a pic of the actual watch I'm wearing. Except this time. Because it's not a real WRUW thread. |

Quickie phone photo + in-phone native editor. Plus, Tapatalk offers some edit tools when I upload.

I have a bunch of pictures on Photobucket, some taken recently, some many years old, which were either taken with my phone or a DSLR.
I never post from my phone and they all get some post-processing with Photoshop Elements, if for no other reason than to sharpen them up.

For some reason I hate Tapatalk, and I think the way it compresses images is unsavory. They just always look blurry to me.
I take all of mine on the iPhone and then crop and edit the color/light in the iPhone's native image editor. Then they go into Photobucket. On the rare occasion that I have a spare minute at work, I'll do further editing in Photoshop - curves and the ol' High Pass trick for sharpening mainly. I'm about 50/50 on the cheating thing. Depends on how much time I have. I am especially prone to cheating on days that I'm wearing a watch with no date. (No evidence!) But it's always the actual watch I'm wearing. |

Thanks all who replied; I'm pretty much in line with a mix of recent photos from camera, phone, edited, unedited, and previously captured images. Trying to improve my photo offerings but it is a slow process. Sometimes I'm torn between the need to post and the need for creative output.

iPhone pics mostly. No processing and sideways
Occasionally I post a pic I have moved to my computer. I try to be true to the spirit of the thread with correct date shown but sometimes cheat if I remember a nice pic previously saved. |

All from my iPhone with the vast majority being from pics saved on my pc. Occasionally I will take the shot the same day and post.

Sometimes the reasons not to post current images vary for me. I can be inappropriately dressed (PJs and robe for example) or have bad lighting and not want to past a picture that is too substandard. Even using the iPhone 6 I still have standards that I strive for.
