Not a vegan but have been vegetarian for over 25yrs now. Still get the Pavlovian response of salivating when i smell bacon being cooked but it makes me desire to eat, not to desire to eat bacon. Human brain is a curious thing.

How's that old joke go . . . . . .

How can you tell if someone's a vegan?

Don't worry, they'll tell you

If you're not supposed to eat meat, why are animals made out of it?

Man has been hunting animals for food since the dawn of time.
Don't worry, we are the normal folks.
I am a member of P.E.T.A.= people eating tasty animals.

i think the reactions just epitomizes how screwed the world has become as we can't even laugh at ourselves in an era of political correctness. Why don't the vegans, vegetarians, lactose intolerant, genetically modified or whatever else we have out there a couple of carnivore jokes!! Promise I won't be offended!! I am at the Marriott on San Marco and saw a sign on a water slide for children stating "no taller than thus" and "no smaller than this"!! Crumpets when I was at school I was told the opposite of taller was shorter....not smaller!!
