10 years later I finally joined the club!

After 10 years of collecting watches, I finally joined the infamous Rolex club. Like some others, I always thought Rolex were overpriced toys for baby boomers with more money then sense. But like some others too, I came to realize the value and all the good about about Rolex. Rolex is more than just a marketing firm. They also make great watches...

Bought many other brands along the years, but in the end, there's a Rolex on my wrist and I'm stoked. But as you see, I chose the iconoclast Rolex. My love for collecting watches has passed. I sold everything I had that had value. I'm down to one and I plan on keeping it forever. Who knows, I might even add more later on.

But for now, here it is:

Thanks! :D

I will enjoy this one for now but I hesitated for a very long while between the Milgauss and Sub no date. So who knows, maybe one day I'll add the Sub, but not in the near future.

I hesitated because at dealers under neon lights, the dial looks baby/light blue. But under normal lights or outside, it looks electric or even navy blue. As you can see in my picture, there is not even a hint of baby blue.

I love that it's the odd Rolex as I had to learn to love the brand over time. I also have a background in engineering and blue and orange happen to be my favorite colors, the Milgauss Zblue had my name on it.

That watch has a certain magnetism to it. I've always been attracted to it, a thousand times over.

All puns intended.

Very cool watch for a first time owner. Your choice of the Milgauss says something, you have a true passion for horology.

Once you are but by the bug it's hard to shake off ;)
