Vintage Rolex "14k Trim" buckle...

http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...mtid=824&kw=lg

This buckle has a 14k gold looking coronet. I think it looks great. The inside of the clasp says "14k Trim" and "U.S.A" on the inside.

The seller has at least a few of them for sale. I haven't run across this configuration. Does anyone know if that coronet is solid 14k gold or if it is plated or gold filled? I really like it as a potential minor customization while retaining the original buckle in a safe place. Just a touch of gold.
