How do you Store your Sunglasses?

I'm having a patently first world problem here. I've tried an online search hoping for some DIY ingenuity but all I found was people using empty picture frames with bungee cord strung across, which looks exactly as described - Really quite awful, and I refuse to hang my sunglasses this way. I'm curious as to the TRFer solution. I know many of you have better weather thus some tasty optics and must face this very problem I'm having. I've another pair coming so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have 3 pairs all Ray-Ban. I keep one in each car & one in the house to wear in the backyard. Not really a problem for me to store them.

Just trying to declutter and free up some surface space. The wall hanging is actually a great idea.. it just looks a bit naff with the broken picture frame.

I just had an idea - Folded material from an old shirt stretched over a canvas. Might be just the thing to hook the suckers onto, without looking like something from the top tip section of Woman's Own. I'll post pics if I do it.

Patently first world answer. This tray holds most of mine and that of the queen. But I've got a pair in each car and my wife leaves a pair in hers.

Now that's a cool sunglassery.

I have Persol and Ray Ban sunglasses. The rule I always follow: Off the face, in the case.

I keep them in a drawer by the front door or in the center console of whatever car I am in.

Best,
Griswald

I have seven pairs of polarised Oakley, two pairs of polarised Maui Jim and each pair have their own case. Six pairs of Oakley live in my wardrobe here in Singapore and the other pair are in my rucksack; my Maui Jims live in their own cases in my house in the UK. Oh, and I have a pair of polarised Carabao (whatever they are) here in the office in case I get a local call out. Never seen or heard of them before I bought them when on a job over on Kota Kinabalu three years ago when I lost a pair of Oakley en route.

Sensible practice. I'm still thinking about my side of wardrobe sunglass rack! The lenses are safe enough and dust isn't anything the ol' ultrasonic won't shift if a pair hasn't been worn in a while.
Question then. If you keep them in the cases how do you know which are which?

I wear prescription glasses that come with magnetic clip-ons that stay in the car in the little storage compartment in the roof made just for sunglasses.

The rest of the time the photochromatic lenses take care of my sunglass needs.

Maui Jim's are rotated and kept in cases when not in use.

In a drawer with a bunch of other stuff. And no, not in their cases.

I just keep them in their original cases in a box in my closet. Rotate 2-3 pairs into the car glove box in their cases.
I have too many sunglasses...Mostly vintage Ray Ban, Revo, and Vaurenet. Modern Tom Ford, Persol and Maui Jim.

Be interested to see a cool storage option.

Maui Jim's are either on the face or in the case. Cases kept wherever most convenient... car, etc...

I like Revo too, but MJ get the most face time

3 Wayfarers for me. 2 in original case for storage. The third (one in rotation) on a Croackie ready to wear.

Had never heard of Maui Jim until recently. Best glasses ever.
Salesperson at duty free recommended then and they felt great. Wound up getting a pair of Tom Ford (mistake. never wear them). Next trip out, I got the MJ's. Like them so much will get the same pair in black next trip out.

Great lens. Can't fully be appreciated in the store - need to be outside.

I have quite a few pair of glasses, primarily they are Maui jims. Prob have 15 or so.
Keep one in each car, golf cart and ski boat. The rest are in their case in a drawer of my home office.
