Yachtmaster 116655

Hey guys so what is the general consensus on the 116655?

I love the rose gold and rubber band look, I don't know if I can spend 20k on it knowing that the value in gold alone is MUCH less than a standard all gold yacht master.

I am on the fence and would love to hear from people who have one on here.

Thanks!

People who have one here, like Seth and Ken, love theirs. But it is your wrist so you have to love it the most.

I've worn one and know someone (SLRDude) who owns one. Amazing watch. Super good looking, very stealthy, and very comfortable.

Don't get worried about the gold content. People pay similar money for steel. It's a sweet piece for sure.

I absolutely love it and now that I own I get it. It is most comfortable watch I own and a joy to wear! The Oysterflex is best rubber bracelet IMHO. The ridges underneath really keep watch from moving and work really well when it is hot and wrist swells. The matte dial and black bezel make watch very sporty and quite subdued for a RG watch. Also the watch looks much better in person especially after you've had time to appreciate it versus photos. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite modern Rolex. I can also tell you also I prefer it over my old 5167R. Like any other watch though everyone is different so try it on and get a feel for yourself.

yes I think its a beautiful watch, they did a great job.... so I ended an engagement and have my 3 carat ring, which I'm about to lose my ass on, but I am thinking about trading for a all gold yacht master with a white face, and if I want to put a band i can always throw a everest black band on it.

Thanks for the feedback, the watch is beautiful. Enjoy it! Still debating if I am going to pull the trigger on it, I love the rose gold and black combo
