Opposite of incoming!
So I've been reading all the incomings of the 116500 and I'm happy for you all but everyone I read, I have the same initial response "WTF, where's mine?" Am I the only one with this thought? So I have to ask, who's still waiting? What color and when did you put a deposit or name on the list? I'll start.
White, deposit put in March 2016.

I think 6 months is to be expected but if you have put a deposit down then yes that is going to rankle. Have you got an ETA from your dealer? Should have a very good idea by now or I'd want my deposit back.

Down my way it seems to work like this... you put your name on the AD's list and then your great - great - grandchild picks it up when it finally comes in...if it ever does...

I'm #30 on the list, but no deposit required. I'm sure, as is the AD, that many people on the list will pass (either because the time isn't right, or they got one somewhere else, or they moved away) once the watch comes in, so I may be closer to 20 in reality. Still a long time off.
And I picked the white face.

My AD is tier 1 with 3 locations. They have received 2 watches so far. My AD has no ETA. My buddy paid in Full with his AD 2 months ago with the promise of getting the next white one that comes in. No ETA for him either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Outgoing would mean I received my Daytona C, I should have titled it "No watch for You!"

I'm old school and a gearhead so I like Swiss movements and German engineering. All my neighbors wear Apple watches and drive Tesla's so it's not a stereotype in SV.
It all comes down to solid state vs. mechanical.

Ordered the Daytona and paid a 30% deposit two days after the baselworld release. I now have two other ahead of me in line. Two other have already got theirs from my AD(small AD in Norway).
I have ordered the white dial |

Ha, when the black bezel came out they were pretty scarce in ADs so it was a bit similar to this Day-bacle. |

If they already have a deposit from you (or some people that paid in full), they know they have a guaranteed sale out of you. If a watch comes in, and they can sell it to someone else, what's stopping them? They know the next one that comes in can go to you.
In the case of a hot-ticket item like this, it may not happen, since they'll fly off the shelf either way, but a deposit doesn't help your chances of getting your hands on one - it could actually hurt. Just a thought! |

No deposit. Called before they opened basel day. Large AD which makes me a small fish. I'm optimistic about sometime this fall after speaking with the manager, who has become somewhat of a friend. He was very candid in telling me how many whales he has to feed. I told him first color available as he said that would give him more flexibility. I secretly want black but if I get white I can always flip to black so no biggie.

Spoke with my AD today, he said Rolex rep was in last week and said to expect 2 this year in or before 4th quarter and 6 next year.
I wait patiently...... |

I would think any reputable business would refrain from acting like this especially to former customers. I just don't see this happening at an AD. Any serious buyer who really wants a 116500 would not have an issue putting a deposit to be next in line. I'm # 5 on the list and want the white dial only. I've tried on both dials and the white just looks better on my wrist so I'll just wait until the Bat Phone rings until then I'll live vicariously through others that are posting thier Incomings with the same response ... Where's mine?

What would probably help is if you put a better thread title. Not sure why everyone wants to put "click bait" titles here for.

I agree click bait titles are dumb but anything with 116500 in the title is getting more views than essentially an outgoing thread which many don't care about
