UK Price increase
I just recently bought a 116610LN and I was told by the AD that Rolex price is increasing by approximately 15% in the UK. Does anyone here heard anything on when its going to increase?

I read an interesting article on the FT about this earlier in the year.
https://www.ft.com/content/b02c5ed4-...7-a4af20d5575e I was told the same recently in store - although not sure if that's just an AD selling tactic! |

I was in an AD yesterday and was told increase will be on sept 1st by 10-15%. Wasn't in to buy so don't see why they'd say otherwise.

Sterling has lost a lot of value recently, increased Rolex prices are just another symptom of the Brexit vote.

It will happen as the UK as now seriously underpriced compared to elsewhere and people are coming from oversees as its so cheap against the $ and the €.
It will probably happen on the 1st September, however I was a definite on the 1st August too and the 1st July and I've been reading about it on forums for the last couple of years. Funny thing is all these 'AD's' are saying it to their customers and every month so far they've all been wrong. Have to be right eventually |

10-15% and 15%.......that's on top of the rumoured 10-12% and 7-8% that have been rumoured and the latter that was from an AD on the 5th August. Who was surprised it hadn't already come in on the 1st Aug.
Think it all goes to show no one knows, probably best to say it they will go up by a percentage sometime in the future !! The UK is the cheapest place in the world at the minute to buy a Rolex |

The ADs where I browse most have been warning me about the imminent price increase for the past two years. Yawn.
Of course, there will be one at some point, and chances are it is soon. But I think it is well documented that the sales staff at the ADs don't know until the day the price actually does go up. But hey, if it pushes an "almost there" buyer to put down a deposit, or buy today, then may as well give them the old "price increase next week" line, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Chaps
I think we should introduce a new rule for anyone who announces that "someone in the know" has tipped them off that a price increase from Rolex is about to take place. 1. If the increase does take place, we will all bow down to this knowledgeable person and publically acknowledge his wisdom and superiority and make him an honorary member of the forum. 2. if no increase takes place, we ban the bugger for life. Regards Mick |

Heard tonight again that a rise is imminent but no-ones sure if it's across the board or only certain models. Seems everyone knows it's coming but no-one knows for sure when, how much or on what!

Well it makes sense with the significant decline in the pound after the Brexit vote. On the other hand AD's in Canada have been dropping hints of a pending price increase (due to Oil price decreases and Canadian $ drop) for about a year which hasn't yet materialized. Often more of a sales tactic. With sales declining drastically in China, there is much less tourist buying and little upward pressure in general around the globe. My 2 cents. Cheers!
