Need opinion.. JLC diver VS Blancpain 50 fathoms
hi all, first post here!
i'm currently looking for a black diver as i already have submariner and seadweller, and i'm really having trouble deciding between the two... pls give me some opinion JUST between the two, and if it's possible please ignore the differences of the strap on the two watches, thank you guys so much |

Sorry, can't see your picks. Sounds to me like you need a little color variation. My recommendation, blue or grey bathy.

I really like that JLC. In this case, however, I'd go with the FF.

I have to go with the Blancpain. I'm a big fan of JLC, but the FF is legendary, and so damn cool.

For me, the Blancpain FF is the best choice. The JLC Diver just doesn't do it for me. I've owned the Bathyscaphe and Bathyscaphe Chornograph. The only watch I regret selling is my Fifty Fathoms.

I would go with the FF or an AP ceramic or forged carbon diver if you can add the cash, both awesome watches, but the FF in blue or black is great, I considered getting one but somehow it didn't sit well on my wrist, the AP sat much better so that's what I got and very happy with it

I like the JLC. I own the DeepSea Chronograph and could not be more pleased with it. It is a true dive watch and scratches the chronograph itch for me.

I'd go jlc due to size...I love the look of the fifty fathoms but to me it's just too large. I'd love a 40mm fifty fathoms

As some have said, a blue FF would be very nice, or even save up for a rose gold FF. |

FF for sure! Like others said it wears small for 45 and is quite comfortable! Black is the classic look, but if you fancy Theblue, check that out! One beautiful piece!

LOL, you know some guys have 10 submariners and that's it, so I think if your thing is dive watches better to get what you want than go for diversity, everytime I went for diversity it didn't end well...

I thought I would love the JLC, but I saw one in person and it fell a little flat. I think it's very toolish, almost reminded me of a Pelagos. The Blancpain has never been my favorite either, and I haven't see the FF in person. Before I saw the JLC in person, I probably would've voted that way, but after, I think the Blancpain just is more visually interesting, plus much more iconic piece.

Neither. Both fell flat for me... These models play up heritage way overboard.
