Watch winder + small wrist + Rolex bracelets

Hey guys

I have a problem with every watch winder I've looked at because of my small wrists. The watch holders in watch winders are generally made of plastic and because of the size of my wrists (and thus the bracelet) and the size of the length of the clasp on Rolex sports watches, I can't do up the watch on the holders!

Hopefully I've described this in such a way that it makes sense.

Does anyone else have this problem? Many ladies mush come across this issue I would think?

Has anyone found a solution?

The best solution would be to sell the machine and use the finest winder in the world and what the watch was designed for called your wrist.

Wolf winders have 2 cuff sizes and are spring loaded

Had this problem with the wife's small wrist. I have a 3 watch Wolf winder. We use the smaller cuff for her but still keep the watch bracelet in the open (not clasped) position. This seems to work fine and the bracelet does not rub on the winder walls at all.

I don't understand the hate some people have for a watch winder.

My wife would not want a watch that she had to wind every time she wanted to wear it. She does not wear her Rolex every day.

I think they resisted the advent of automatic watches as well

Wolf and Heiden are two that I know of that have two size cuffs. Heiden also sells small round rubber disc's that you slip under the watch band for a tighter fit.

Thanks guys, super useful.

Sam - do top shelf magazines still exist???

Padi - not sure I could carry off walking around with several watches on my wrist - if I had bigger wrists, maybe! But then I wouldn't have a problem with winders :-)

At one time I had over 50 watches in my collection still got quite a few today auto and manual and I only ever wear one watch, the rest are stopped till needed just like the millions of movements on the shelves at the Rolex factory. But I have still got the use of my fingers to use the winding crown after all thats what its for.I have a rapport winder bought for me several Christmases ago I open the box it looked a nice finish, then put it back in its box. And if I remember its still in the attic as I still have use of my fingers and wrists to wind my watches when wearing. And for all those that find this extremely difficult task of setting and winding a watch that must take all of 30 seconds out of your busy lives, then I feel truly sorry for you.Now if you have a watch with many many complications like say a Patek then they are useful as they are quite difficult to set up.But most Rolex have just a simple date some have none, machine winders Humbug, and not needed unless you cannot wind your watch because of some finger wrist disability.
