Un
Hi. This is a question I have about Ulysse Nardin. My wife is slowly moving toward letting me by a Ulysse Nardin watch. I have a Rolex Explorer (216570) & I LOVE it for its robustness. So if I get a UN watch I would also like it to be tough as I kinda put my watches through hell. How does a sports UN stack up to a Rolex?

Some Marine models come on rubber straps and I'd prefer those for the sake of utility. Otherwise, it is hard to beat Rolex in terms of robustness, precision and quality.

A Maxi Marine Diver will easily match anything a Rolex can handle, regarding robustness, and being COSC certified, it can be just as precise.
Quality is there in spadefuls, and the lume will wipe the floor with a Rolex. Buy pre-owned for best value, and get the bracelet – it’s a peach, albeit a bit blingy. Rubber strap is great quality too. Bottom line, there really is no reason why you should shy away from one, if it floats your boat. |
