That escalated quickly.
Hello world. My only automatic watch, a daily-driver Seiko SKX007, finally quit on me in July after years of hard use, knocks, and general abuse. A couple of months later spent looking for a "serious" replacement, a new account on TRF, and...you already know how this is going to end.

Can't go wrong with a Sea Dweller as a replacement for your Seiko.

Welcome to TRF, one of the most expensive places on the interweb. I look forward to seeing your second and third "incomings"!

Welcome!
What ever else you might get, don't forget a new 007 (or a trip to Seiko for an overhaul) |

Wow, maybe a Deepsea for me too when I grow up! I do have a predisposition to divers, having owned the Seiko. And though I know I can wear a 41-42mm watch on my dainty 6.25" wrist, I've been looking at classically-sized Air Kings and Explorer Is as the first step onto the Rolex road. Complementing styles and purposes and all that.
But who am I kidding, I change my mind so often that I'll probably surprise myself with my eventual first incoming. In the meantime, I'm at TRF to learn, be tempted, and probably scolded, mostly. |

You may also want to consider a Grand Seiko.
