I am sorry if I am doing something wrong...totally new to this and totally new to Rolex watches.
That's the reason why this place was my first visit. Once again sorry. Lorenzo |

take the watch to your local RSC (or CW21-certified watchsmith) for authentication.
P.S. Curious why you are asking? Did you buy the watch? Or passed down from a relative (uncle, grandpa, etc.)? |

Passed down from uncle.
Would not like to go wherever and find out it's a fake. Even because only place I can think of here in Holland could be official Rolex dealer. |

It could be legit, a fake or a mix of the toon know as a "franken" ..if you take a piece of duct tape and wrap it around 2 fingers sticky side out, or makena "sticky ball" use yhat to get the case back off..shouldnt be too hard..showna oicture of the movement and all will be known

did try this but was not able to get the case back off.
When you say it could be a franken, means a mix of original Rolex parts ? |

Its usually a converted pocket watch to a wristwatch. It is a piece NEVER made by the original manufacturer. A "marraige" watch, is a watch made up of original parts from same manufacturer, but different models. I have not studied your watch, as there seems a lot of responses. These are my definitions, and I hope they help Adam
