Icon5 Real or Fake? PLEASE HELP?! :)

Hi everyone,
I was given a fair condition Rolex as a payment for some freelance work. So I'm certainly hoping it is worth something, but I am not sure of it's authenticity because i do not have the box or any documents. Can anyone give me any advice?

The face reads:
"Rolex
Oyster Perpetual
Datejust
Superlative Chronometer
Officially Certified
Swiss Made"

The inner rim is etched with "Rolex" and "F714983"

Any help or advice on what to do with this piece, is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Better to take money only for all work done in the future.

Thanks for the quick response, everyone!
I should have said that it was more of a token of appreciation for helping someone. I'm in Baton Rouge, La and ive been helping people gut and repair their flooded homes. I honestly didn't expect much and I am not upset. The owner admitted he wasn't sure if it was authentic or not, as well.

Anyway, should I just toss it in the bin or what? Haha

FXXXXXX relates to 2004. Years before Rolex started engraving the rehaut.

It's for the bin.
