Thank you, everyone. Been eyeing this one for a few weeks but was conflicted between this and the ROC. Both are great watches. I was a bit concerned about the size and how it will sit on my smallish wrist but after actually wearing it, it's not an issue at all..

Thank you also for all the beautiful pictures that's made abundant in this forum. I wouldn't have realized how beautifully finished these watches are if not for them.

I hope to enjoy using the Safari as a daily wear for many many years, as I have enjoyed my WG DD36 for more than a decade..

Great watch, waiting to see what happens with the in house chrono movement from AP in the near future, and if nothing compelling is announced for me, I might pull the trigger on this piece as well. Congrats

That's an excellent plan. I was thinking along the same line. Perhaps in the future if AP comes out with an in-house movement for the ROC and if the price is not too outrageous, it may pique my interest. Not taking away anything from the present ROC though. It's a gorgeous watch nonetheless..

Thank you. To be honest, initially my favorite was the ROO Elephant, but there was none available at the place I bought this (I didn't buy this at an AP AD). In the flesh, the Safari is not bad at all and I must say I have not regretted one bit by getting this..

Congrats on your AP Elephant. They're all awesome but the Grey ROO will always have a special place in my heart..

Thank you.. Indeed the APs are much better looking in the flesh. The finishing of these watches are just incredibly delicate..
