Best rubber strap??? Thoughts?
Which rubber step do you like best? Rubber B / Everest / cheap eBay/ other? And why? Let me know what you've tried and what you liked. I know some you hate them and nothing other than the original bracelet is acceptable.
My plan is to used it on my 16610 sub mainly on the weekends. |

About Rubberb and Everest.. If somebody says one is amazingly better than the other this person is overreacting.
They are a good case of "Too close to call" in various aspects. Even the price. RubberB generally uses the watches clasp. Everest has tang buckle option. At their website you can find a dealer close to you so you can maybe try them. If not then choose any. If you want to experiment first.. get a cheap curved end strap on ebay just to have a loosely based idea of what it is. Remembering always that both Ever-arrest and Rubberbimbo have far superior quality than the cheap ones. |

I used a Rubber B on a DSSD for about a year and found that it loses its matte finish quickly if you wear it daily. It becomes more of a glossy/shiny finish after a while. Not sure about competing brands.

I've owned both Rubber B and Everest straps and I prefer Everest. While I agree with Ragna in that both straps are pretty close, I found Everest to be softer and more comfortable with the shape of my wrist.
I wear my BLNR and Sub on Everest from time to time using their deployant straps. |

I have this one. I like it.
NATO is the only look I like other than the bracelet on my sub. https://www.watchgecko.com/zuludiver...ap-bonetto.php |

Rubber b is nice, and it uses the Rolex clasp, but it's a tough nut to pay $200+ for two small pieces of rubber that might cost $4 to produce.

I have my Marinemaster 300 on an Isofrane rubber strap....not real dressy but on a dive watch, it is, IMHO, perfect.

I have heard the Everest is more comfortable as well, more supple/pliable. Unfortunately they do not yet make one for the SD4K Ceramic, so I went with the Rubber B. It is still very comfortable and looks great, don't think you will be disappointed with either.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned Watchgecko.com, but their inventory of rubber NATOs and many many other 2 piece and 1 piece styles is incredible. I have zero affiliation and order nearly monthly from that site.

Agreed to my liking Everest is softer and therefore fits my wrist better than rubber b. I Love that picture of the sub with orange rubber...I might need to pick that up for the fall

For DSSD- I have the rubber B, isofrane, Seiko silicone, and Maratac NATO. In my opinion the Rubber B looks best but I cannot get the fit right. Most comfortable is isofrane with Seiko silicone close second.
For SD4000 - I have Everest, isofrane, Seiko MM rubber, and bonetto cinturini 285. The bonetto is incredibly comfortable and hard to beat. |

Well seeing as you are asking for thoughts, my thoughts are no rubber strap looks good on a Rolex sports watch. But suit yourself.

I currently have a RubberB on my Explorer and am very pleased with it. I've never owned an Everest so I can't compare the two.
I also have owned an Isofrane which is an excellent strap as well, if a bit on the thick side. A much cheaper alternative would be a Bonetto Cinturini which is a quality Italian strap that is available in many styles and smells like vanilla.

I just placed an order for the Everest deployant strap for my SD4K because people were saying the Everest strap was more comfortable. I will report back once installed.

I keep my 16610 on the everest all the time. It's a brilliant combo and I wear it running, swimming, etc. The rubber b gets used on other watches instead. |

most comfortable for me.... BC Rubber NATO.
My rubber B is comfortable as well, and I think with the "endlinks" and everything matches the watch better, so that's what I keep on my 16570, but I have a BC Rubber NATO on another watch, and it's probably more comfortable to me, to the point I have been thinking of swapping it out onto the Rolex... but haven't yet. |

I prefer Everest over rubberb.
The details and fit have better execution.
