Finally my new Explorer 1
My AD received the watch about 3 weeks ago, but was out of the country until this week.
I have always loved the Exp1 and had planned on adding it to my collection, so when the updated model was announced I called my friend at the local AD and committed to their first piece. Patiently waiting while all the other new Basel pieces arrived was a nightmare. All of them are amazing, just not the one I was after. While traveling, I received a text message from my friend letting me know it had arrived! I was tempted to ask him to ship it to me on vacation! I had walked into a few Rolex AD's while on vacation, I did find the updated Exp1 in Seville, SP. and new it was the perfect watch for me. It was tempting to just get it then and there.
