DD40....the changeover problem

Well, I rather hope there isn't a problem anymore, but I am not sure. Maybe someone here knows. When I bought a DD40 a year ago the change-over mechanism was faulty. It changed 90 minutes late. Several samples were all faulty. My AD said Rolex were introducing a modification to the 3255 movement, which could be retrofitted.
I gave up, and bought a different Rolex; some other DD40 owners did the same.other owners did not care , which is fair enough. I don't know how many owners were affected.
Does anyone know if the issue has been fully resolved? Only I still read the occasional complaint. It is a classic bit of teething trouble, but still should never have happened. All in the past ? I certainly hope so.
Anyway, the Cellini Dual Time which replaced it has been wonderful. And completely reliable. I won't consider another DD until I feel more confident. Maybe a white gold Pepsi GMT would be more fun anyway.

Thanks for the public service announcement. Am looking at DD40 but I like the Cellini Dual Time, too. Did not know about this flaw in the DD.

I purchased a DD40 last spring and haven't had any problems yet. Best of luck to you if you buy another.

Mine purchased in September had the issue which developed over time much like others here (changed at 12:15 initially then 1:30 regularly).

I thought I could live with it but after a few weeks, decided to get it hopefully fixed.

My AD sent it to RSC Dallas two weeks ago. The store checked up and it's another two weeks of testing. I'm getting a movement service and calendar service under warranty.

Will be sure to report my findings afterwards. My AD never heard of the issue but I'm sure the RSC is aware.
