41mm vs 39mm
Hi all,
As per recent threads I am on the hunt for an AP. I am having a hard time deciding between 39mm and 41mm. I have attached pictures of both on my wrist and would be grateful for any feedback as to which the common consensus feels best fits..... (blue is 15300, white 41mm ROC) Many thanks |

39 for RO, 41 for ROC. If you want a blue dial I'd go for the more vibrant 41mm models.

39mm.
Had to make the same decision as you and chose the 41mm. Regretted it ever since. In the end sold the 41mm and bought a 39mm. The 41mm proportions are completely off which started bothering me very quickly.

Do you know if the 37mm proportions are off as well? I guess I've never noticed that about the 41. I guess I've only noticed how enormous it looks on my small wrist.

I think 39 looks better on your wrist but up to you.

I say 41. The best thing about the 39 is that someone might confuse it for a 15202.

I'd say 39
My personal experience as a wrist girth insecure male, is I'd like to look at my watch as I'm intended to. Not in a mirror at an angle only others will see. Also, I'd like it to look "right" in my minds eye, not accentuate further an insecurity I had |

I think 39 is the easy answer, but I also think the 41 looks just fine on your wrist. I just prefer the previous model's proportions, but one can't dwell on the past too long.

41 is great for a busier dial, chrono or openworked, but for a plain dial I find the 39 much better proportioned, I just got a blue 15300 as well, it's a great watch whereas every time I see the 15400 the proportions seem off to me

41. Not a fan of the 39mm at all. The dial is no where near as pleasant to the eye as the 41

Think they all look good on your wrist.
One can make the argument that you see more of the gorgeous bracelet on a smaller diameter, but based on your pics, it looks to be the same. When I was looking there weren't any 15300's readily available, so tried the 15400 and loved it. Interestingly, when I later tried on 39 mm (15202, 15300), I thought their proportions were off! It really depends on your wrist size, if you have a large wrist 7+ 41mm will be better but other than that 39mm is great size for smaller wrist

39mm looks better to me, but that's just my opinion. You should go with what makes you confortable

39mm I think.
I have a 41mm ROC, waited for its launch because I thought the 39mm was too small. Having worn it for three years I now believe it's too big and will switch to a 39mm. |

I've been having the same debate... I was gearing up for a 41mm but each time I tried it on I found it is too big for my tastes, and I'm 6'4" with a 7.5" wrist.
A 15202 is a bit out of my range so I'm keeping my eye open for a good condition 15300. |
