Icon20 Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller AUTHENTICATION QUESTIONS

I received this watch as a partial payment of a debt. I took it to a Rolex AD. They offered to buy it for $6,000 on the spot, but have not removed the. Ack of the watch. Please feel free to give me input on it's authenticity, I will be taking it to a watch technician in the afternoon tomorrow, around an hour away. I currently have a Yachtmaster, I can detect no difference in motion of the hand even after Viewing both in a slow motion recording.

Many thanks,

Vince

If they can remove the back locally you'll also know its likely fake. Only Rolex, and a very select few watchmakers, have the tools to correctly open the backside of the Deepsea. My advise, walk...no run back to the person that owes you a debt and get something else of value from them (i.e. cash - but you may want to check the bills too to ensure their legit with a testing pen). :)

That's just not even a good one. If you own a Rolex, there's no way this quality a fake could fool you IF you're being honest with yourself. Maybe just too hopeful about recovering the debt??

What special tool does the DEEPSEA need versus a SUBMARINER or GMT Rolex case?

Special tool to open or just the pressure test? I assumed it was that most could not pressure test to DeepSea depths not that it had a unique back that could not be opened.

Complete junker. Likely someone meant that very few have the ability to pressure test the watch properly.

Yes that's the problem not opening it, most watchmakers can pressure test enough that no human will know the difference as you can't dive that deep.
