SS Daytona 116520 - Christmas Came Early, Courtesy of ErikSzper!

Just got my second Rolex, curtesy of the Rolex Forum and ErikSzper!

I've always wanted a Daytona. It was one of the first Rolex's I ever tried on at an AD, and I immediately fell in love with the style after going through most of the dress watches, yachtmasters, subs, etc. I couldn't afford one at the time though, but after seeing the new Ceramic models come out (which I actually don't like as much as the 116520), I figured now was as good a time as ever to pull the trigger on one!

Erik's photos in the listing were super high resolution, so I was pretty worried about the light Bezel scratches you could clearly see. But the price was right and after reading through his reviews and asking for some feedback on the different SS Daytona listings, I decided to pull the trigger with him.

And I have to say: I'm absolutely STUNNED at how beautiful it is. I cannot believe how amazing the watch looks in person (no visible imperfections really). Suffice to say I will never be buying another Rolex on eBay

Beautiful watch, the white 116520 is classy as it gets. Nice pair.

thanks everyone! I've loved having the 16713 Root Beer. Have been beating it up over the last 4 years. Probably due for service at some point to get it cleaned up. Think it's a super underrated one & love the Pan Am history with the older references!

pumped to test out the daytona now
