A Global Rolex Registry/Database?
I could be mistaken (and it certainly wouldn't be the first time) but something seems a bit fishy about this subscription-based Rolex registry service. It is advertised as a way to track your Rolex in the event of its loss or theft. According to the program, you pay this company a set fee and submit your watch's serial numbers. Now your Rolex is 'registered' anywhere around the world and can be tracked after a police report has been filed. Sounds pretty far fetched as a Rolex lost or stolen usually remains that way (despite RSC and/or factory records). Another peculiarity is that in the 'Contact' section, there is no company street address, just an e-mail form. Now I'm beginning to wonder if someone is simply collecting money from 'suckers' via Pay Pal and creating a cash-cow based on the number of paranoids they can lure into the program. The details and company homepage/link are listed below:

Geez, I had no idea that this topic had been covered before, OEB. Feel free to '86' (aka delete) it. No point in beating a dead horse as there is adequate feedback from the earlier threads/posts.
