If you were to pick 2

Merry Christmas everyone I figured I'd ask all you enablers about my own first world problem

I used to be a flipper but I have settled with my small collection below for almost 2 years now. Each one is special in its own merit.

I tried and failed at the one watch guy idea (glad I didn't sell prematurely) but I discovered that a 2 watch rotation is my sweet spot, a casual and a dressier option but not too dressy.

Any 2 from below would make an excellent pairing, hence my delimma as to which 2 to keep. Another option is 1 from below + 5140G or WG DD. One other option is to do nothing, wear my fave 2 and keep the rest at the bank safe.

I'm kind of stuck. Thoughts?

Daytona - my only purchased from an AD and name on warranty card, gets 90% wrist time at work, 0% outisde work, PCL is mostly nice

GMT - unpolished, mint, don't have a need for 2nd timezone, I prefer a sturdier sub bracelet

SD - sentimental value, purchased from a good friend, only con is too top heavy

Sub LV - love the case and maxi dial and hands, feels great on the wrist, the green is nice but I tire of it

Exp - like new condition, simplicity at its best, cannot get used to the 36mm

Argh. Daytona since t gets soooo much wrist time. And the LV or the GMT.
The others are replaceable from an availability perspective.

Keep Daytona. Sell others and buy something.

I would keep the GMT and LV (and would changed the bezel in black and put the green one in a vault)

I would also keep the LV and swap out the insert for a black one. And keep the Daytona.
Based on your initial post, this would make the most sense, IMO.

Great collection.

Suggestion, get the WG DD and flip the 36 exp to the 39 version. Rock that collection for two years, then see what you are in the mood for.

Daytona plus WG DD for sure, seems you have issues with the others probably coz they are only SS.

Thank you, Neil. This may explain my favoring the Daytona for work 90% of the time.

Yep. The Daytona gets 90% of your wrist time, you don't need a 2nd time zone, the SD is top heavy, you tire of the LV, and the EXP is too small. So I think Neil is dead on the money.

And I think the presidential bracelet will give you the sturdier feeling you want.

I'd try a 3 watch collection and see how it goes. The Daytona, GMT, and SD. A good holy trinity.

I have those three. It's a nice mix, but I'm hankering for a 36mm Exp2.

Keep the SS Daytona and add a WG DD. Those cover all the bases.
