Crown on oyster clasp polished? Rolex Datejust 116200

Hi guys,
first of all i have been a long member of Rolex forum and today i finally joined the the Rolex owners club as well. 2016 was important year for me and i purchased myself a nice 2008 116200 36mm Datejust. It was polished and had service done this year. I purchased it from authorised rolex dealer and it was in fact an owners watch. (i know him on personal level). I got nice deal, two year warranty and decided to finally threat myself.

BUT

When i compare the crown on clasp of my 116200 36mm Datejust (bottom on both picutres) to my wifes new 2017 31mm Datejust i noticed that my crown is much different then hers.(please see the photos). Her watch was never polished and my was. My crown was definitely polished because hers crown still has little 3D feeling and my does not. I am a little worried about my polished crown. I heard that some people like to polish the crown so it makes nice contrast but on the other hand i feel like i got screwed on it. Any suggestion, advices?
