DJ or Sub as 2nd Rolex for a younger guy?
Hey guys I've been lurking here for a long time and I got my first Rolex about 6 months ago (Milgauss Z Blue 116400GV) and already have the itch to get another one in the next couple months.
So far I'm looking at getting some sort of Sub C, (either a hulk, plain black or the TT black) or a TT rose date just with the chocolate dial. I also love the YG DayDate but am worried that it's a little obnoxious looking on somebody in their early 20's and I originally picked the Milgauss since it's a bit more subtle and low key without screaming ROLEX from across the street. Given the blue Milgauss what do you guys think would be the wisest choice for my second watch to be different enough but still something suitable for daily use? I'll be getting this next one used like a lot of the advice I see around here :) Here's a funny picture of my watch withy buddies bracelets on lol |

True I have been leaning towards the sub a bit more lately. Do you guys think the classic stainless black is the way to go or would it be better to get a colored variant like the hulk or a TT black?
The problem is I like them all :( |

Black SS Sub with a ceramic bezel for daily use - it goes with anything, anytime, and you can bonk it on most surfaces with impunity.

Hands down sub. LV or LN is personal preference. The black is likely more versatile for everyday wear, but the hulk is, well, the hulk!

Given that your current watch is very similar to the DJ (II), I would lean towards a Sub or a GMT (BLNR).

Since you already have a little colour in the milgauss, I vote SS sub LN

I would stick with a sub. The DJ is a little too similar to your Milgauss IMO to add to a 2 total watch collection. I'd want a little diversity and some ceramic goodness. Plus the glide lock bracelet is killer!
I'd go hulk or LN and call it a day. |

Get a Sub. I love the color of the Hulk but you have that covered. I would look at the Sub-C ND, 114060. Great looking watch and a classic. It can also be had for around 6K slightly pre-owned. Save some cash for watch #3.
