My new to me....GMT II
I just picked this one up today from the post office, missed the mail man yesterday . I bought it off a guy who just bought it on 6-26-2008, yea, only a couple of months old. I have been looking to buy one for a few months now and I have seriously irritated some sellers with all my questions I'm sure. Anyway, it is a beauty, it does have some hairlines on the polished sides and a couple of marks on the insert , but in all honesty, it makes it easier to wear. I hate putting the first little scratch on a new watch and now I don't have to worry about that. I could go get a new insert from my AD but I really don't mind having a couple of real small scruffs on it, maybe I will, maybe I wont, I'm undecided right now. The little hairlines on the polished sides will easily buff out but then again, do they really matter, it looks alive now. I do wonder how my 2 month old GMT II has more scruffs than my 1 year old daily wearing sub, I guess some folks are harder on their watches than others. I have already taken the bracelet off and cleaned all the grime out between the lugs and checked the serial numbers and model numbers, and this Monday I will go to my AD and have my friend take off the case back and make sure everything looks good. It came with everything it should have including a open warranty card which is a nice bonus. Anyway, here are some pics.......

Very nice, Trev. Now when you take it in to your AD, have him swap out the coke bezel for the all black. Then you'll have the perfect watch.
Like this.

Not a problem, Trev. You're a member of the 4 hand club. That's what counts.

Congrats....Had a VERY hard time deciding between the coke and the ceramic....In the end I went with the ceramic...http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=51468
...I do, however, reserve the right to go coke at a later date!..Enjoy that beautiful watch in good health...

That's an awesome watch Trevor!
I know what you mean about the difference in wear among watch owners. I just purchased a Z-serial 14060M that is less than a year old. It is in good shape but has more scuffs and wear than my F-serial GMT II that I've had since 2006. It wasn't anything that I couldn't buff out but I was surprised by the difference. You will love the GMT II, and the Black/Red bezel combo is great. Mine is currently all black, but with the addition of the Sub I have a black/red insert on the way. I'd like them to look a little different. Enjoy it--it is a classic Rolex!
