SD: Movement & He Release Valve Connected?

Hi,

Just wanted to know if the movement and the helium release valve are physically connected??? Can one be replaced without bothering/touching the other???

Movement not connected to the release valve. I would imagine the movement has to come out to work on the valve though, just like pushers and stem tube work.
