Watch you bought but weren't sure about but that pleasantly surprised you...
For me...Seiko Pepsi PADI I love it...and Seiko 007...can't wait for Blue Lagoon model!
Also Steinhart Vintage Ocean Chrono and Vintage Ocean Military...under-appreciated brand... And perhaps my favorite (after my BLNR) is my CWC Quartz diver which is insanely cool... |

Hulk Sub. Dial is just amazing in color and photos can't do it justice.

Reverso tt 1931. I thought it would be too plain, and the lack of any movement on the dial would be boring. After a couple years of ownership, I still think It just works perfectly.

My first Pam, 233 "dot" dial, and also my Patek 5712, was used to big and heavy watches, and my 5167R, wanted a RG piece but thought like already happened, that I wasn't gonna love it, but no, I love and wear it, ultimate versatile RG piece, with big stealth mode

Seiko SRP777. Bought mainly to fill the empty slot in a watch box and figured if I didn't like it I could just use it on holiday or once in a while.
Wear it a lot on the weekends and in the week when I work from home. Great watch. |

+1 with all those that said the SKX007
I bought one on a whim, and at the time didn't even really care for any diver watches. Not only did the SKX exceed my expectations, it also got me wearing all kinds of divers I wouldn't have considered before. |

Another for Seiko Padi, bought as a holiday beater but worn frequently at weekends. Alas it was sold to go towards a bigger watch but its given me a bit of a Seiko itch and the Samurai Blue Lagoon is on order. If only I could find an SBDC007

Just picked up a MontBlanc :
https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/th...rie-ultra-slim Complete impulse purchase after seeing it in the window of a Montblanc boutique. First dress watch so I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I've been very impressed with it so far. Even the movement looks pretty nice for being a stock ETA 7001. Made me realize I rather do like dress watches, esp hand wind ones. |
