matching Tudor serial number to year of manufacture
I'm considering purchase of a pre-owned Tudor that I suspect was made in 2006 but I'm not sure. I have the serial number and I have checked various websites such as Tudor Collector, Sweeping Hand, Lunar Oyster, Tudor Passion, and others, but none of them have any information on serial numbers for watches made between 2002 and 2011.
Does anyone have a recommendation for how I can verify that the serial number corroborates information in the seller's ad? I want to make sure the watch is genuine! Thanks! |

Only Rolex owners have been obsessed enough to try and compile serial/date lists, and even those are so bad that many folks are fooling themselves..
If it is a model that was available in 2006, it isn't going to be any different than the rest if there is a few years on either side. We do have a Tudor correlation serial/date list in the Reference Library, but it may not give you absolutes.
