My first venture into vintage Rolex..and it's a 6263!

It was time to switch up my collection a bit and having collected mostly modern watches, became intrigued by vintages and especially vintage Rolexes. After much research and back and forth, I decided on a 6263 as the one to add to my collection. There were quite a few ups and downs during my hunt, which is part of the journey and a part of why this hobby is so interesting.

It definitely took some time, but I'm finally able to say that I'm ecstatic to be an owner of a 6263 in absolutely fantastic condition (and with box and papers too as a bonus!!).

Big thanks to some of my WIS bros (you know who you are) for all your help and support through my first foray into the world of vintage rolex, and big thanks to Michael Morgan as well for making it happen.

Thought I'd share a few pics :)

That watch is a stunner. I was eyeing Michael's listing for awhile but just can't bring myself to drop the coin for it.....kudos to you! What a magnificent example and I'm glad it went to a good home.

Goodness...Hell of a start with a 6263 as your first vintage purchase.....Where to go from there is the next question??? I say an absolute mint gilt 5513 gilt, IF you can source one. Congrats buddy....that's a truly stunning example.
