If i only kept one Rolex it would be this one

The deep sea is just an amazing watch. I highly recommend it to anyone whose wrist is 6.5 inches or greater. It wears amazingly well with the best clasp I have encountered on a watch (a step above the glide lock imo). It has the same heft as a solid gold sub and lets you know it's there. The bezel action is the smoothest I have ever experienced on a dive watch. It's just the ultimate dive watch ! The funny thing is, you would be surprised how many people notice it as a Rolex and think it's a submariner. BIG and looks like a sub seems to be a loud combination. This can be good or bad. I just wanted to share some experiences.. I can't see myself flipping this one for a different Rolex anytime soon. I might decide to try a Patek sometime for funsies but that is the only way I see this leaving . Some pics below from casual to dressy. Feel free to ask any questions if you are considering a dssd !

Stop. I'm already feeling weak and susceptible.

Man it looks good!

Edit: I wear my Explorer fairly tight above the bone. Do you think the DB would wear well in that scenario? I do still feel like it may be too big for me and I should just aim for the Hulk instead.

We as a forum demand you keep this one for at least 3 years! All jokes aside, that is a fantastic watch Josh.

Sometimes I think I want the DB for all the wrong reasons ... and I'm mostly okay with that.

Is the blue dial still matte? The only reason for me not to buy a DSSD as I love gloss dials.

Hmmm. The Db does wear better when it's a bit snug. I prefer it towards the hand for looks and feel.

I surprised myself a little too. But I had to satisfy the yellow gold itch.

I had it before My Sub and only reason for flipping was me being bored.

It's a great looking watch. I tried it on at Waterloo's AD, however it was just too big for my wrists :( ... but I did like the dial.

Looks great.....have always been tempted to go for one but having tried on the black dial a few times, it just felt too big for me.

One of my favorites also although the size put me off in the end...until i miss it again. Nonetheless one of the most beautiful modern SS Rolex watches.
