1600 vs 1601 vs 1603

Hi guys I am new to the forum and am looking to get a datejust! I have been offered a DJ 1600 for €1800 with new crystal and serviced last decemeber with no visible scratches what do you guys think of the offer? Also could someone tell me the difference between the different models and is one more "sought after" than the others?

Does it come with original jubilee ?

If yes and that the watch is in great shape like you mention this is a good price.

After just be carefull if there is no aftermarket parts, if there is, this is not a good deal anymore.

It doesn't come with the Jubilee bracelet the only thing that was replaced was the crystal from what I am aware of

The 1600 is the least common of the three, but I don't think it's all that rare. Any pics?

Did you asked why the crown is always out ?

The difference between a 1601 and 1603 is the bezel, the former is fluted, the latter is engine turned. Google pix. I don't know about 1600.

But 1601 and 1603 lack quick date set. Which can be annoying. Think about 16013 or 16014 or 16220 etc.

I've seen smooth (1600) bezels in both yellow and white, fluted (1601) in yellow, white, and rose, but I have only seen 1603 engine-turned in stainless. Has anyone seen the 1603 engine-turned bezel in any other color?

Gilt DJ in any of the 16xx variations is the only one that can be considered rare.

This is usually done to keep the watch from running during the pics. You can line up the hands so that they show the dial without blocking important areas.

I understand that you could do it, but 1601 doesn't have the hacking second. Also the hands are not properly placed so...

1570 began hack feature in 1972. Lots of hacking 1601
